I’m hearing talk out here in Arizona that the Hawks will be bought and moved to Boise due to the new tax law pertaining to the wealthy. Is this a real possibility?

I just don’t think Julio will reach his 5 tool potential simply Due to his lack of plate discipline. I’m pretty sure the scouting report in bold face says he will get himself out swinging aggressively out of the zone while the few times he walks doesn’t seem to hurt. It’s becoming abundantly clear that we are simply a poor hitting and disciplined team or we are really having trouble swallowing. You have to wonder if last year was an anomaly. The offensive performance this year should be unacceptable and is representative of a lack of leadership from the top down.

It’s kind of amazing some of the things that happen when you put the ball in play. Striking out, which seems to be our forte, basically accomplishes nothing.

My observation on Ferrer is that his heater is straight as a string and even DMoore can hit that. How our advanced guys could miss that flaw is beyond me.

While Dan is a guy you would like to have as a neighbor he may not be the "guy" to lead us. I sense a lack of discipline in all phases of the game.

The biggest thing I notice about Cal and Julio is that they pull their head off the ball like a golfer overswinging. Just too in love with the dinger imo.

What are our big three to start the season? Somewhere around 5 for 70 I’m guessing. A lot of violent head in the air swings
