Re: It is on the players now. Jerry delivered.

That being said, the Mariners spend plenty of money to win games. Their futility is not based on lack of spending. Spending more could help, but you don't need to be a top 5 payroll to win a World Series. The league is set up for small market teams to have windows of competitiveness. The key to thi...

I don't know if this is up to date or even accurate for that matter but according to this that HR is tied for the Longest ever at T-Mobile/Safeco Field.

The Padres.

Mason Miller, Ryan O’Hearn, Ramon Laureano, JP Sears, and a depth catcher. I guess they are going after Dylan Cease.

Why does everyone want Jax. His numbers aren't great. 4.50 ERA and a 1.283 WHIP. ERA+ of 95 and a WAR of .2. He strikes a lot of people out but he has been average at best this season.

Re: It is on the players now. Jerry delivered.

Then in the post-season it really becomes about the shortened rotation. It takes a good 5 man rotation to run up a 60% winning percentage. But, you don't need a 5 man rotation to win in the post season. What you really need is 2 guys at the top of the rotation that are lights out. The Mariners have...

Re: 7/31/25 GT: Reunited and it feels so good

One thing that needs to happen is Kirby and Gilbert need to pitch the way they know how and stop having those inexplicable four-run innings. I'm guessing that it's just not going to happen for Miller this year and we might be stuck with Evans who should NEVER pitch in bandboxes like New York and Sa...

Re: Final Trade Deadline Plan

I would be shocked if they don't add another reliever. It may not be an elite back end guy but they will do something to deepen it.

This is absolutely nothing to worry about. Front office contracts mean nothing as far as commitment. They can kick him to the curb anytime if things fall apart. M's Signed Jack Z to an extension and 367 days later they canned him.
