Why does everyone want Jax. His numbers aren't great. 4.50 ERA and a 1.283 WHIP. ERA+ of 95 and a WAR of .2. He strikes a lot of people out but he has been average at best this season.

Then in the post-season it really becomes about the shortened rotation. It takes a good 5 man rotation to run up a 60% winning percentage.
