That would have been a great argument 20 years ago before inter league play but now it's just f****** ridiculous Not really. If I was Boston I wouldn't want to trade in in the AL and end up watching that team make the playoffs every year. Inter League wouldn't have much impact, in my opinion. Still...

I kind of figured he would get traded, but didn't see it happening so soon. I thought maybe at the deadline, but more likely in the offseason. San Francisco makes sense though. They've been wanting to sign a star player.

This has got to be one of the worst bullpens ever assembled. I would call Jerry a clown but that would be insulting to Bozo. They have to bring in at least two good relief pitchers. If they can do that, it changes the entire dynamic of how the bullpen is being used. You could throw a dart in Tacoma...

I turned off the game after Thornton gave up that homer. This team is really hard to watch right now.
