For a guy like Wisdom, there's an MLB service time incentive to stick around in the high minors for another year or two as basically an emergency call-up guy. He isn't likely to get another year, but every 43 days spent on a major league roster counts as 1/4 of a year for pension benefit calculation...

He has a 36% K-rate in the majors going into his age 34 season. I'm sure he'd like to get another year in the majors but it's probably not going to happen. It's a decent career though for a fringe guy.
