Re: Bryan Woo

Pulling starters when they start getting up near 100 pitches is as much about effectiveness as it is about saving arms and preventing injuries. Re: Bryan Woo

He has command of two plus pitches, his 4-seam fastball and his 2-seam sinker. He has three other pitches - slider, sweeper, and changeup - that grade out as average-ish. If he can upgrade one of those in the offseason, he'll be a Cy Young contender.

Re: Charlie Kirk has died Rest in Peace

I'm surprised they caught him so quickly. It seemed like this was pretty well planned and executed, including his escape route. His face was partially caught on camera, but he had a ball cap and sunglasses on, which would make facial identification in court extremely difficult. But I suppose he coul...

Re: Moving on from JP after this season

Diamondbacks aren't trading Perdomo. I think they'll probably move Jordan Lawlar though. I think the Yankees could decide to move on from Anthony Volpe, and they could view JP as a modest upgrade with one year left on his deal. The Dodgers are another one to watch as they may prefer to put Mookie b...

Re: Charlie Kirk has died Rest in Peace

I'd be surprised if it was a "pro". First of all, the choice of weapon, a bolt-action rifle wouldn't be the ideal weapon of choice for a sniper. Secondly, whether he was aiming for Kirk's head or heart, the shooter missed by more than six inches and was just lucky he hit an artery. A professional s...

Re: 2025 Prospects Thread

Colt Emerson is raking in AA Only in Mariner land is .267/.784 RAKING. lmao. Julio had an over 1.000 OPS in AA. Emerson is doing okay, but hardly dominating the level. I really hope the plan is to keep him in AA for all of 2026. Agree. Solid for sure given his age but I am still waiting for a perfo...
