Re: Way too early offseason
$w20 mil a season? He's put up 7 war over the last six seasons. I don't know, we shall see. The first baseman market is pretty thin It’s early, but some of the pundits like Passan are predicting $100M is likely for Naylor (unless he goes with a short term contract) based age, production, and compar...

Re: Way too early offseason
My first priority is bringing back Naylor. At this rate I'd look elsewhere for production from 3B. My choices be. A. Move Polanco over there or; B. Let Geno Walk & try for a short term deal with Max Muncy. Dude is raking in LA. Wouldn't cost much either. Agree re: Naylor. 100% We missed the Alonso ...

Re: Victor Robles Rehab Assignment
I’m uncertain, but curious. I’ve heard it said that guys are never the same after an injury like that - a healed dislocated shoulder isn’t going to be as stable an arm fixed with Tommy John. But I also know he has gobs of potential and he’s young. At one point he was a higher rated prospect than Jua...

Re: It is official: Naylor is the biggest deadline move
He's way more valuable as a trade piece and they can trade him in the off season There's lots of good 1B options in the FA class next year depending on how spendy the FO wants to get. Personally, I am happy with Naylor, and would love to see a way that we could bring him back. 1B Free Agents: Pete ...

Re: Final Trade Deadline Plan
So, we got two big impact bats and a left-handed reliever. Does anybody think that we’re done? Or will there still be action in the next eight hours? Meet Jerry at one more reliever? Will they make an unexpected move for another outfielder or a starting pitcher? Who thinks we’re done? BTW - the Sken...

Re: It is official: Naylor is the biggest deadline move
Well, assuming the A’s would trade within their division, we missed out on Mason Miller….

Could be a reliever or a starter. Good get by the Friars.

Mariners get left-handed reliever Caleb Ferguson from the Pittsburgh Pirates.

So that’s something, I guess.

Re: D Moore has to go
And comically, stories that he is being “made available” for trades is a lot like dumping that malodorous college couch you had with sketchy stains of unknown origin by the side of the road with a sign that reads “Free - or best offer”.
