Re: Who would you rather have at 2B?

I didn't include Marte in this questionnaire, because I feel like we all would prefer Marte. But between Donovan or Polo, who you got? I think that you might have had more peeps chiming in if you had made this a more robust poll. Polonco or Donovan, while probably accurate, is a bit anemic. For me,...

Re: Payroll situation

Another look at the prospective 2026 Seattle Mariner payroll: https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/seattle-mariners/payroll Ummm... They are showing Garver on the roster for 2026 at $12 million, AND, they are showing everyone on the 40-man roster being paid the MLB minimum. That's just not how it works. Whe...

Re: Payroll situation

Total = 134.79 M for 28 Roster spots M's Payroll for 2025 was around 165 Million. So unless they increase significantly they only have about 30 Million to spend. It will take 30 Million just to resign Naylor and Polanco. I predict that there are going to be a ton of disappointed M's fans when they ...

Re: Adding contact, and doing it cheaply. Off Szn Plan 1.0

Could be the plan at 3B next year is to start the year with Williamson and he either hits his weight at least and keeps it or to have Emerson come up in July or August to take it over - assuming he doesn't shit the bed the first few months in AAA. This might just be my wishful thinking, but I belie...

Blame whoever you want, but that game was won for the Giants by that damn homeplate ump who had no clue what a freakin' strike is!

Garrett Crochet extended

The Red Sox extended Crochet for 6 years at $170 million. That works out to $28.3 mil per year. How does this effect signing Gilbert to an extension? How are the two alike? Who is the better pitcher? Garrett Crochet turns 26 on June 21st. Logan Gilbert turns 28 on May 5th Crochet has appeared in 105...

Re: An interesting experiment... maybe

The most remote site in Colorado for me was living in Glenwood Springs. But they had a golf course. And Breckenridge, but being a ski bum their golf course was under snow. LOL! Glenwood Springs is a gorgeous part of the state, but far from remote! I visit Breck a couple of times a year to imbibe in...
