Re: M's sign Mitch Garver to minor league deal.
Polanco got $20 mil. You have Refsnyder from the right side and Donovan from the left for basically half the price. I wouldn't have spent on Polanco either, but neither Refsnyder or Donovan look like answers to me. They look like the typical guys Dipoto throws millions at then gives twice as many a...

Re: M's sign Mitch Garver to minor league deal.
I'd have gone with a scrap heap backup catcher, put the $2.25M they overspent on catchers, and the $6M they wasted on Refsnyder, and however much they're giving Donovan to be J.P.v2.0 and put it towards one good bat. Overspent on catchers? Knizner is on a ML minimum contact, that's all they have sp...

Rasheed's $14 mil seems a little more reasonable now

Re: M's sign Mitch Garver to minor league deal.
IMG_1625.jpeg Evidently Cal thinks Garver is worth adding. This sounds to me like it may be already decided who joins the team That's odd, the whole thing is odd. They hadn't been in contact up until Garver calling them? We shall see, what I see is they already have Knizner on a ML contact. They wo...

RW's contract cost the Broncos $53 mil last season and $32 mil this one and yet they were able to field a number one seed, it can be done

Re: 49ers Brian Fleury - likely OC pick
From 2023, 49ers blogger speculating on shanahan making Fleury his OC back then. I think it might have been this same blogger that dismissed the seahawks hiring him now, saying Fluery will be back coaching for the 49ers after a year. I think I'm grasping the hiring a little better. Fleury isn't the ...

Re: Free Agents - Cap Space - who stays, who's gone
After being hired as the raiders HC, raiders insist kubiak return to Seattle to attend the SB parade And as to that focus that the Raiders liked so much in Kubiak, the day after the Super Bowl, after the new Vegas coach had gotten the lay of the land, he was headed back to his hotel with his family ...
