Clever title.
In other news, Taylor Dollard pitched for the first time in 2 years tonight in the ACL.
2 innings, 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 K.

I was being a dick, it wasn't important. Grammar national socialism isn't cool.
I'll miss Luis Castillo though. I was hoping we'd eventually have an entire team of Luis Castillos.

You're right, especially if it gets in the way of humour. But, oh God it definitely has its place. I have one pet-hate that I always jump on.
If someone ever uses the phrase, "We will revert back to .................." please as a country pile-on and stop them. I have searched the forum and the word "revert" has never been used, thankfully.
Revert means "go back" you can't revert back to something. You can only revert to it.....
And breathe.

My ears bleed when I hear "I could care less", when someone OBVIOUSLY means that they could NOT care less. I also laugh when I hear "PIN Number". The N in PIN literally stands for number. That one doesn't annoy me though, just find it humorous.mostonmike wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 8:27 am

It was funny to me because I joke around and do the same thing. I did actually go back and forth in my head before I decided on 'A F' because 'An F' sounded better.
I was hoping we would call up Julio E. Rodriguez for a game and have 2 Luis Castillo's and 2 Julio Rodriguez's

Ah, pleonasms! The department of redundancy department of the English language. I love/hate them.Michael K. wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 1:47 pmMy ears bleed when I hear "I could care less", when someone OBVIOUSLY means that they could NOT care less. You need your PIN number for the ATM machine (M = machine), Michael.
