It was a struggle day 1. Fleetwood hit about 4 fairway bunkers, and had a bunch of putts that were millimeters from falling.
The best laid plans. lol

We fought hard though, and are happy to get out with a +2. Hoping for less wing and better scoring tomorrow morning.

Here is what AI said about the weather for the Open

The weather forecast for the Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland includes a mix of sunshine, showers, and wind throughout the week. Thursday is expected to have some early brightness followed by mostly cloudy conditions with a chance of intermittent rain, possibly heavier in the morning. Friday will likely be rather cloudy with a chance of showers. Saturday's forecast suggests a longer spell of rain, while Sunday may be showery. Winds are expected to be a factor, especially on Saturday, potentially shifting to an easterly direction. Temperatures are expected to remain in the 60s Fahrenheit.

You don't need AI for a forecast for the UK, especially Northern Ireland.

It will rain.

It rained on Tuesday - which was St. Swithun's Day - ask AI what will happen if it rains on St. Swithun's day..... (often spelt and pronounced as Swithin)

Day 2 already underway.

> I've added our own Fed-Ex Standings, World Ranking list which automatically updates as the leaderboard does.
> Cut Projection added
> Projected number of qualifiers per protagonist - based on the cut

It gets dark by about 1pm PDT, so that's when play will draw to a close.

How do people live there with that weather in the middle of summer? I've been in Wenatchee for 3 weeks and I haven't seen a cloud. I absolutely love it here. I'm driving a woman from here to Chelan for $100 this morning. LOL

I made $175 yesterday driving around for about 5 hours talking to people and listening to sports radio. Living the dream.

Moaning about the rain is our national pastime. You have baseball as your national pastime, we have rain. I'm lucky as I have both

I'm just happy I have my three in the weekend. Well, unless Scotty strokes 10 over par on the last 2 holes....doubtful.
