Hunter Cranton and Juan Burgos are the pitchers in the deal.

The deal is a fleece by the M's of epic proportions compared to what Arizona was reportedly after.

Great trade for the M's.

It's close to what I predicted last week. I said a fringe top-10 prospect and a couple guys 15-30. Was pretty much exactly that.
That’s so much better than ford and McGraw
It also explains the Burgos call up the other day. It was a little showcase event.

Burgos is kind of like Bazardo.

Probably a year or 2 from figuring it out. He'll like be decent in the future... but he's nothing to lose sleep over.

I think Locklear could have a nice career w. Arizona... but that's the risk you take.

They haven't traded anything of value and ended up w. a better team.

All you can ask for.

Miller not closing is he getting traded? Weird not seeing him in 9th?
A's announcers believe they are trying to limit his wear and tear.

Why overwork him in a season that's dead?
Close to be traded to SD and they already have to a all star closer yikes

Only down side we have no 1b if he gets hurt or for next season. Solano playing 1st would really suck. Gonna have to resign him or trade for 1 in offseason

So you are putting Polanco at 2nd and one of the Outfielders at DH?

I'm definitely not as big of a fan of Geno as others here, but that was an amazing deal they made.

(though I really wish we could have seen Locklear get another shot in a Mariners jersey)

Still need a right handed of bat. Cantzone has looked bad against lefties. Moore is the only option and not using him so how bout Ozuna from atl?

Yes. I know nothing about lineups but I do know that's alot of power as an example.

Maybe now you go out and get a Willi Castro and Jax.
Use Castro as your swiss army knife.
