If you could swing a deal for Ryan & Jax sure. If not I'm blowing up Clevelands phone & not hanging up. Go get me Kwan & possibly Beiber.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 5:38 amNope! Because they know its ON NOW! This puts the Mariners in possible contention. With this pitching staff and now offensive upgrades...they have to go out and get relievers. Look at what the Mets and Phillies did today. They have closers on top of closers. In the end it'll be pitching that wins the pennant for you.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 5:32 amIs Bautista on the board even. I'm making that call. You bet Jerry & Justin aren't getting any sleep tonight.

I don/t know why you are pumping Kwan so much when Julio and Randy are there and you have, Raley Canzone, and potentially Robles coming back.
Kwan is a 110 OPS+
Canzone is a 138 OPS+
Raley was a 131 OPS+ last year and is at a 1o3 despite the injuries.
Kwan = 0

I don't know who they get but they need another BP Ace:
Mason Miller, Bautista, etc, etc,they need another guy that is on the level of Brash = Munoz.
I would have done the Duran deal swapping out say Ford and Evans to get it done. Or cejente, or whatever.
Duran puts you in the drivers seat

Mick Abel is pretty friggin' huge!! Yes we could've beaten it, but would you have wanted to give up Sloan?HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 12:50 amhttps://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/458 ... hoan-duranJuliooooo wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 12:36 amfor who?HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 12:10 amSeriously 2 prospects is all they got. Ford, Emerson, Peete would have been plenty. Throw in Hancock too. That's ridiculous. Can't get an elite bat, can't get a flame thrower.
According to sources, Minnesota received catcher Eduardo Tait, regarded as a Top 100 prospect, and pitcher Mick Abel, a rookie with six years of team control. They're ranked fourth and fifth, respectively, among the Phillies' minor league prospects, per ESPN.
We could of doubled that easily. Seriously, Ford, Peete, Emerson, McGraw.
