I didn't realize how badly Correa was stinking it up this season. Hitting .267 with 7 home runs, OPS of .704, WAR of 0.1 even though he has the advantage of being a shortstop. I kind of like the two players we got a lot more.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:20 pmAstros moves seem more interesting than the Yankees, bring Carrera back

yeah, just reading about him. He had a concussion earlier in the season. I think there could be a psychological element, he's your ultimate teammate guy, just bringing him back could inject some energyDavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:25 pmI didn't realize how badly Correa was stinking it up this season. It’s been a strange season for Correa, who as far as anyone knows is healthy but has been searching for his offensive form for much of the year. He got off to an extremely slow start, followed by a strong May (.875 OPS), a June slump (.682) and a recovery in July (.759). Correa has at times shown signs of being the impact player he was as recently as last year, he just hasn’t been consistent.

We needed three relief pitchers and they got one. I don't understand why they didn't do more to address the team's biggest weakness. If you trade for rentals like Naylor and Suarez doesn't that mean you're going all in to win now? Fuck me...

Hey at least they moved Crapford to the 8 spot where he belongs. I wonder how long that will last.

It sucks we just couldent get what Skanks gave up. Doval and Bendner would have been huge. Skanks went all in and horrible we couldent get one of those 2!!!Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:51 pmWe needed three relief pitchers and they got one. Liking the lineup. Switch Geno and Julio around and its almost perfect. Hoping Randy can build a spark at the top.

Yankees beat the Rays which is probably a good thing since the Rays are better than their record. Means we only have to worry about Texas right now.

I dunno about this lineup. It favors co-MLB RBI leader Suarez over co-MLB RBI leader Raleigh in potential RBI opportunities.
What's Cal gonna think. Will he be offended? Distraught? Indignant? Depressed? Didn't Dan and Jerry think about that?

I do hope Ben goes down to Tacoma, strengthens his stroke, and ups his line-drive power game. Upticking his OPS and exit velocity will greatly improve his value to the Mariners. His D is fantastic; just needs to work on the bat skills.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Why would you bat a non-power guy like Naylor 4th instead of Suarez?
