I totally get the doubles defense, but that was ridiculous, especially with Julio in center.

Julio was shading to left field as well… if he hits it hard enough to get between Julio and Moore, the guy isn’t scoring from 1B though…

Yea that was bad he was way too far as soon as he hit that i walked away knowing there was no way. U could have crawled home.

A left handed batter is more apt pulling the ball into the corner which he did.

Milwaukee getting more free burgers

Local restaurant chain George Webb has been promising free burgers if the local baseball team won 17 consecutive games for decades, starting way back when Milwaukee was home to the minor league Brewers of the old American Association.

The promotion dropped to 13 games by the time the Braves made Milwaukee a big league city in 1953, but that franchise couldn't make it happen before departing for Atlanta in 1966.

George Webb changed the promotion to 12 games when the Brewers moved from Seattle in 1970. In 1987, the Brewers opened the season with 13 wins in a row. More than 170,000 burgers were given away to mark the occasion.

The Brewers accomplished the feat a second time in 2018. They closed the regular season with eight regular-season victories followed by four playoff wins. Milwaukee has come close on a few occasions since, including an 11-game winning streak earlier this season.

George Webb will announce details of the giveaway on Thursday afternoon.

Dylan does not belong anywhere on a ball field except in late game situations period. He has a role & should know it. If he were starter material he'd be starting more often. He's lucky to call himself a major league ballplayer. Robles & Raley & Santos can't get back quick enough.

Gregory Santos has been cleared for game activity. But he will need a few weeks of building up mound time after tending to some personal issues in the DR, which didn’t allow him to throw off the mound.
