9/2/25 GT: A Rivas A Rivas Andale Andale!
Re: 9/2/25 GT: A Rivas A Rivas Andale Andale!
Its time to start Ford everyday and let Cal DH 4-5 days a week. He's tired... he's not hitting, he's not throwing guys out anymore - which I know is mostly on the pitchers - but we need his bat more than him catching bad pitchers at this point.

Maybe they should just give Cal, JP, Cole and any of the other struggling hitters an entire week off to get their shit together.

for me it was always about consistency between the two teams, how the umpire was calling the game would be established with that game, what the ump considered a ball or a strike and so long as he was consistent with it that was all that mattered. I'd like to see the analytics displayed that way actually. Is he calling the same pitch a strike for both teamsmostonmike wrote: ↑Wed Sep 03, 2025 11:49 pm20250904_004704.jpg

It is literally in the graphic. lol Overall favor. Consistency. What did you think that meant.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 10:12 amfor me it was always about consistency between the two teams, how the umpire was calling the game would be established with that game, what the ump considered a ball or a strike and so long as he was consistent with it that was all that mattered. That Ferguson call may have accounted for the entire .47 run advantage for TB.

Is that what it its? The overall percentages there don't seem bad. Was it generally a shitty job?Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 3:31 pmThat Ferguson call may have accounted for the entire .47 run advantage for TB.

Getting tired? Hate that excuse. Other teams are tired too.
Tired or getting right/choking as other teams are getting close.
Tired last year? Tired the year before? Best training, travel, food, people carrying their equipment, paid millions. Rise up. Donor choke once again. Instead use the tired excuse.
Bad teams use excuses. Had organizations. We travel more. That’s it. If we have the wrong players that can’t handle the pressure then Dipoto once again chose wrong. Tired of the crap excuse making.

The"called strike accuracy" was pretty bad. I don't know how they calculate the "overall favor", but the top 3 "impactful missed calls" all worked to TB's favor which seems to indicate a bias.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Sep 04, 2025 5:42 pmIs that what it its?
