Pittsburgh's Bubba Chandler, in only his third start for the Pirates since being called up last month has retired the first 15 Nationals batters. Tomorrow is his 23rd birthday. Good luck lad.

EDIT: I no sooner had hit "submit" then Dylan Crews singles on a ground ball to left fielder Tommy Pham. Ah well.

Mets were up 2-0 in the 8th and blew it. Now 3-2 in the bottom of the ninth. Edwin Diaz gave up the go ahead run.

Mets absolutely suck cant even beat a minor league offense. They have nothing in thier lineup. Brewers and Mets are complete trash. Mets couldent even beat thier minor league teams. Such pussies. All 3 top west teams facing shit teams right now and beating them. Gotta keep winning since Cheaters and minor leaguers cant stop winning.

Former Mariners coming through what they couldent do here. Hate as soon as they lose they get much much better.

Just to update what’s still to come

To Play:
Astros 3 v TEX, 3 v SEA, 3 @ ATH, 3 @ LAA
Mariners: 3 @ KC, 3 @ HOU, 3 v COL, 3 V LAD
Rangers: 3 @ HOU, 3 v MIA, 3 v MIN, 3 @ CLE

Game 1 of TEX v HOU is Monday at 5:10pm PDT

But dare we dream? If the baseball gods allow, the race for a bye to the ALDS.

Detroit 85-65
Seattle 82-68 (3 GB)

Detroit still to play; 3 v CLE, 3 v ATL, 3 @ CLE, 3 @ BOS

Cleveland are 78-71 and still chasing the Wild Card so Detroit still have plenty to contend with yet.

It's a good thing the Ms have a 3-gm lead on TEX because that 12-gm slate looks awfully easy for TEX. Let's hope HOU sweeps them. I'd rather HOU make the WC than TEX as TEX has elite pitching. Houston, on the other hand, is a mess. I think we can sweep HOU in HOU to lock up the division. Need to sweep COL and win the series vs KC and LAD. (good thing that last one is at home)

I can see Detroit going 5-7. Get to 90 wins you might get that bye.

This is just dumb man. If Houston sweeps Texas they can catch us by sweeping us or even winning 2 of 3. We don't have to worry about Texas if we winning the division!

Have to agree with DT.

The target now is to win the division, nothing else. Once you top the division, it becomes all about putting more ground between you and second place.

So until or unless Texas go into second behind us we cheer for Houston to lose. Every single time.

The division is key for the Mariners imho. They are more sucessful at home. If they host a series booyah.
The idea is to get rest if possible as well for our pitching. Let's see how things play out in the seating the last two weeks.
Comeback kids.
