This is just dumb man. If Houston sweeps Texas they can catch us by sweeping us or even winning 2 of 3. We don't have to worry about Texas if we winning the division!

The target now is to win the division, nothing else. Once you top the division, it becomes all about putting more ground between you and second place.

So until or unless Texas go into second behind us we cheer for Houston to lose. Every single time.

The division is key for the Mariners imho. They are more sucessful at home. If they host a series booyah.
The idea is to get rest if possible as well for our pitching. Let's see how things play out in the seating the last two weeks.
