M's Payroll for 2025 was around 165 Million. So unless they increase significantly they only have about 30 Million to spend. It will take 30 Million just to resign Naylor and Polanco. I predict that there are going to be a ton of disappointed M's fans when they see the way this off season plays out.

Per Cot's, the M's will have a payroll of $127,822,381 for the traveling 26 man roster on opening day, 2026. Where did you get your numbers? I'm willing to bet the difference is in the projected arb dollars. A difference of almost $7 million is very significant.

Cot's has the opening day 2026 40-man payroll at $130,492,181.

I disagree , look at pitching value and his durability. He is making 20 million and still has that value or close. They may not get much of a return but assume their goal would be to create salary space

He is going to be 33 and has an ERA+ of 104 over the last 2 years. Who is going to pay 20 Million for an old pitcher who is barely above league average. BTV has him valued at -7.4.
