This Cameron totally sucks. Just like the two pitchers who started the games where the Mariners got one hit.
Maybe Refsnyder will have that one great series like Donovan Solano had at Wrigley last year. Mind-blowing that Solano went 9-14 in that series which added 36 points to his batting average on the season. Someone who didn't watch him play would look at his season and think well, that wasn't a total train wreck, but he just had that one huge week where he went 14-26, otherwise he hit .193 with no pop. I mean, you'd expect regression at these guys' age and where half their home games are, but it's like dementia set in and along with A.J. Pollock they completely forgot how to hit.
So check out the Royals' history since they won the World Series in 1985. They've had seven seasons where they lost at least 100 games, another five seasons where they lost at least 95 games, only made the playoffs three times, yet won two pennants and another World Series. The lesson, as always: Everyone except us.
