Personally I'd rather trade Kirby than Hancock.
Kirby has the talent but he's a freakin head case.
Besides he's an east coast boy he'll never resign with Seattle he wants to be a Yankee.

Sign/draft pitching, trade/draft for bats. It's just what they have to do because no actual bats are going to come here willingly. You're going to get the Josh Naylor's to sign here.

Naylor played his cards right in the offseason, talking up how much he liked being here. I'm sure that played a part in his 5-year deal, setting him up for life.

Definitely played his cards right. Especially when we saw what Ryan Ohearn signed for (2yr/$29M).

O'Hearn had an .803 OPS in 2025.
Naylor had an .813 OPS in 2025 and got 5yrs/$92.5M

But Naylor's shoes and belts are bedazzled so Dave Cameron loved him...

Jerry Sold off the closer in 2021 while the team was 9 games over .500 and a game out of playoff position.
If he buys at the deadline with this crap team, it would be a mistake. They need to sell.

Randy and at least one starting pitcher had better be gone when we start play next week. I'd look to trade Donovan too if anyone wants to take on damaged goods. I'd also consider selling Munoz if the return is good enough. DFA JP call up Arroyo and start planning for next season.

M's have not made a trade with the Angels since Nam.

O'Hoppe has an OPS of .565 this season. Last season he had an OPS of .629. He sucks. Silseth is one of those relievers who looks good because of his ERA but really isn't as he has a WHIP of 1.412 this season which is lousy. The Rangers picking up guys like that actually helps us.
