“They know where I stand,” Gilbert said of Mariners management. “Seattle has become like home for me, and I’d love to be able to finish my career here.”
Raleigh’s new contract, Gilbert said, “definitely” adds to his desire to stay in Seattle long-term. They were both part of the Mariners’ 2018 draft class, and they both were up-and-coming prospects the Mariners banked on as the club worked through its rebuilding phase from 2019-21.
“We’ve built something here … and you feel like you have a stake in it,” Gilbert said. “You want to see it through.”

Apparently 85 wins and missing the playoffs while the FO does diddly shit to improve things is appealing.

Just shows how little any of them actually care about winning.

Perhaps the most telling performance so far of any M is Donovan Solano going 0-4 with 3 K's against a fucking lefty after the Twitter mouth breathers all told us it was an amazing signing b/c he's a high contact guy who never strikes out.
Here comes the next DFA of a geezer that dies in an M's uniform.

Who went 0-4 with 3 K's against a lefty throwing 91 MPH when he's been nothing but lauded for his incredible plate discipline and proneness to contact.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:28 pm21% career strikeout rateSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:19 pmPerhaps the most telling performance so far of any M is Donovan Solano going 0-4 with 3 K's against a fucking lefty after the Twitter mouth breathers all told us it was an amazing signing b/c he's a high contact guy who never strikes out.

Again, I know you don't actually watch the games so you wouldn't have seen it... but he was flat out missing fastballs thrown in the strikezone.
