You want to know who you are just look at your record.
Enough of the season to determine that the Mariners are a decent team but not a great team.
They are NOT a first place team.
After tonite they might officially be taken out of first in the division.
The rest of the first place teams all have about 35 wins or better.
After Cal and most nights Julio who is on this club that can carry the team?
I guess this week it's Taveras?!?!?
Not enough.
Polanco was great in April but has crapped the bed since.
Randy I'm still waiting for him to show up in Seattle.
His body is in TMobile but his mind is somewhere else.
The rest are AAAA players or worse.
Twins have an identical record. I guess we each win a game and Sunday is a crapshoot.
Even if we are stuck with the same personnel....I worry about the decision making.
Evans and Hancock have pitched well...but they go with an obviously not fully recovered Kirby.
Do we have to lose a few more games before they realize he's not ready to go yet.
The use of the bullpen by Wilson is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard.
I don't even know where to start.
And no insight on the direction of the team by Jerry and co. because there is no direction imho.
This is the way they operate and it's insane.

That would just be an ordinary Mariners season. It's what I expect. Occasionally they'll look good, like they're getting their shit together, but then they just suck again for a while.

This repeats a few times, and Mariners miss playoffs by a few games, not that they would have been competitive in the playoffs (unless they happened to have one of their weird hot streaks)
