You can look up an address on the County Assessor's website, if the house was purchased under their own name.

read a story awhile ago, the ex-boyfriend of a college football coach's daughter, as a prank made their home address public on social media. This was characterized as a huge headache, not because of burglaries, but protecting them from fans. And the only way to correct it would be to move. Just struck me how crazy it would be to have to live like that

When I was a kid {late 80s into the 90s)they used to publish the "Baseball Address List" every year. It included the home address of every living MLB player, active and retired. It was for getting autographs through the mail, and even had instructions on how to properly/politely request autographs.

And... It worked! I would send a baseball card, a self-adressed stamped envelope and a hand-written letter asking kindly for an autograph. About 50%of the time I'd get an autographed card back.

I got Cal Ripken Jr, Bo Jackson, Albert Belle, a bunch of random Mariners (Buhner, Blowers, Cora, Garcia, some others).

The funniest one was Ted Williams. He sent back a form letter saying he was under contract with Topps and couldn't sign any autographs except at sanctioned events. I wonder if he even read my letter saying that he was my grandpa's cousin (true).

interesting, remember a story about getting a particular hard to get autograph, think it was an actor. They wrote him a letter asking for an autograph. They replied with a letter saying, sorry they didn't give autographs, and signed the letter
