C'mon they could build a ballpark in a corn field and call it the Field of Dreams and make it the #1 tourist destination in sports.

And in N'orleans they got this thing called the Supah Dome.
You know they've built an actual ballpark next to the Field Of Dreams, right? They've even played a couple games there. The first one between the Yankees and White Sox was really cool.

I wonder if they could play baseball in the Superdome. Man, would it be an eyesore.

Twisp is a great choice, obviously. Twisp Whips, maybe or Twisp Tumbleweeds.

Tijuana would be interesting, but I'd say a place with a more authentic Mexican cartel vibe. I googled most dangerous city in Sinaloa, and it's Culiacan.
So, the team could be located there and called the Sinaloa Shotguns or Sinaloa Squirrels (for a family friendly feel).

Vancouver. They obviously have the fan base as we see every time the Blue jays come to Seattle. It's significantly larger than Portland.

I agree.

While we are at it, let’s pull up the tent pegs on the Rockies - they are not a viable sports team. Let’s give that franchise to Montreal. They also have the fan base to support an MLb team. They just need to build a proper stadium.

I think the chances of MLB putting a franchise in Monterrey and a second one in Toronto are barely better than them putting one on North Sentinel Island.

That's not a bad idea, but I don't think they're as serious as some of the other cities in making a bid.

What's your second choice?

The Rockies are right in the middle attendance-wise, they do have support which is impressive considering that they're pretty much at this point screwed and the only way they'll ever make the playoffs again is if several players have fluke great years.

Maybe so, but I do think that a team somewhere in Mexico would be a great thing. THey would be packed every game.

I would have said a team in Mexico City, but it is just too far away, so I was trying to find something in north Mexico that had a large population.
