You know, watching the Mariners look so shitty is bad enough, but then we HAVE TO listen to the broadcast team talk about how great this team is. I don't recall even one person of the broadcast team say anything negative about any player. The closest they come is always something like "so far, he is having a tuff season".
I am tired of it.

Mariners are sinking rapidly and already third in AL West. By next Sunday. the Mariners will likely fall to 11th in the American League with only the Angels, Athletics, Blue Jays and Royals below them. This might be a good time to sell, restock, and await another good draft where we will be drafting in the top ten almost certainly.

We all are. We all have been sliding down into despondency for years with this aberration of a baseball club.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2026 6:01 pmYou know, watching the Mariners look so shitty is bad enough, but then we HAVE TO listen to the broadcast team talk about how great this team is. The GM is hired to build a team to win. I think the upper brass and ownership should have enough pride to strive for a winner.
Instead, we get the used duct tape approach.
Profit. This team is profitable. That's all that matters.
The broadcast teams would be fired very quickly if they ever considered telling it like it is. They are not blind. They just know that their paycheck is tied to positive spin.
With me, they are building something. They're building apathy.

Did the Mariners score in the first? I thought I saw a "3".....oops.....they went down, 1-2-"3". Again.

Degrom who had a 9.00 era in the first inning retires the hapless Mariners on 6 pitches, while Pederson bashers Gilbert's first pitch for a hustle double. Lankford with a two strike single and thev sixth pitch is a Durran RBI sacrifice fly. The M's are being embarrassed.

Maybe Joc Pederson's comeback leaves a little hope for Naylor next season...

Riddle me this.
Why would an org keep Jhonny Pereda in Tacoma when the two worst hitting catchers in 2026 are here to further embarrass the city? Pitchers sure give a lot of runs up lately with them anyway.
