No the explanation in the second post. Blue Jays needed to appeal that he left early and they didn't so the run scores.

What are the odds that both base runners thought there were two outs??? You see that maybe once or twice a year and it happened twice on the same play????? 1 in billion?
I don't think they both thought there were 2 outs. I think the runner on 1st base confused the runner on 3rd because the runner on 3rd saw him trotting like it was the last out.

Either way, low IQ.
