I am really beginning to wonder if JD does his due diligence? Did he miss the boat on Smith, Beckam and Santana's defensive liabilities? Has he figured it out on Healy yet as well as our dynamite bullpen? As long as I'm pondering, and this should be a separate thread, what in the world is wrong with Hanniger? A lot of this I expected but shouldn't he be hitting a at least a .275 clip minimally?

Adrian Sampson is only 1-4 with a 4.79 ERA. Leave it to the M's to make him look good.
Ex-M of course, acquired for Happ.

He comes up a few years ago as an emergency starter, and throws his arm out after a few pitches.

🤪😳😜

Another game bites the dust.
23-29. Slowly sinking and on pace for 72 wins.
In two more games we'll be 1/3 through the season. Can Dipoto and Scott Servais right the ship?
Your “on pace” should more reflect 10-27 than 23-29.

If you use 23-29 as a base, they’re on pace for 72, but using 10-27, excluding the inexplicably weird 13-2 start, they’re headin toward 63 or so.

Got it. Ran the math and 63 is the non-magical potential number. A tad lower than the 84-86 I predicted before the season began. Can't remember the exact number and that thread is gone over at the Times. I just know I was feeling pretty smug when 13-2 was reached. Maoling picked one win more than me. Reality bites.

Before the season I was thinking say, 68 wins.

Last season was Strange, this year Weird, I sense a pattern....
