Re: Interesting trade from sodomojo
For HANIGER!!!? From CINCINNATI?!!!!! Fuck that shit!!!
There's only 1 name that'd I'd trade Mitch to Cincy for and his first name starts with Hunter, last name ends with Greene!! And that's just the headliner!!! They better be including oodles of pitching for Seattle to pull the trigger on this deal, and not at the major league level either. I'm talking about a trade that would infuriate the Cincy fanbase for me to to be satisfied with moving Mitch Haniger (i.e. cornerstone motherfuckin'-team leader).
No way you sell this low on Mitch or at all for Christ's sake. Don't need to worry about it, Jerry is smarter than that though. He's already set the bar in place for Haniger's "price". Braves wouldn't/couldn't meet it. And that bar ain't budged a bit. I don't read Sodomojo for this very reason. No offense to any who do mind you.

Can't fathom why you would want to trade a guy with a 132 wRC for a guy with a 95 wRC give the first guy is one year younger.Hanjag wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 5:30 amI would be willing to trade Narvaez but it would have to be for a Realmuto package. I don't think he has that value yet around the league and I am looking to get max value not .50$ on the dollar. I would be willing to listen on offers but all of the current outfielders warrant a top 100 prospect headlined package.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 7:20 pmDouble Mocha Man wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 7:13 pmThe article mentioned Santana and Narvaez as potential trade bait. Just chill Jerry. These are solid pieces to a rebuild. And the fans need to have someone they recognize to cheer for.
the guys shtick is coming up with trades, that is why the column is called a trade a day, everybody is going to be potential trade bait to him

Maybe it's time to actually hope/wish that this team can be sold to another more deserving and a higher baseball IQ ownership group that would stay in Seattle.
I for one wouldn't shed a tear if this team moved out of Seattle.
