I saw Kelenic last Thursday -- the guy is intense. The difference between how he carries himself and how Ackley carried himself in Tacoma is like night and day. Ackley just never seemed solid and like he could carry the team on his shoulders. Kelenic seems rock solid. Of course we'll just have to see how things goes, and it was confusing how the M's management handled this promotion: first they said he'd have to stay in Tacoma for a couple hundred ABs, then a few weeks, then . . . ok, 4 games is enough. Irritating. Kelenic looked great, but I sure hope they didn't bring him up too early.

He did get a few weeks of spring training AB as well against AAA pitching

There will be 37 down and 125 to go when he makes his debut. What are you guys expecting for the 125 games assuming no IL and ~5 days off so 3/4 of a season.

That sounds reasonable, and it would help get us on track for about a +5 or 6 record by year's end.

The pitching needs some help, they're on life support.

It's like we have Flexen in the 3 spot and 5 other guys fighting for the #5 spot in the rotation next year. Need to find some guys that belong near the playoffs. Our guys are the types you try and skip their turn once ypu make the playoffs.

I don't remember anybody claiming it never happen, angels were not pushing it
