6-0 might pull it off, but that would require a smidgen of help from the Orioles. We hold the tie-breaker over the Blue Jays so that helps.
What doesn't help is we're playing at home. Even in a good season like this most of the clown shows have been at home (the Tiger series, the Royal series, the Diamondback series, the two no-hitters, etc.). We should ask the A'ss and Angels if they'd like to play in their parks instead. Seriously, DO IT.
There are no tie breakers. If they tie for the wildcard, there will be a playoff to determine who gets the spot.
Most likely path to the playoffs is M's go 5-1, Yankees go 1-2 against the Bluejays and 1-2against the Rays. Bluejays go 2-1 against the Yankees and 2-1 against the Orioles that would give them a 3 way tie at 91 wins. The home field advantage in that scenario is very convoluted but if I am understanding things correctly It would likely be the Yankees hosting the M's and then The winner would host Toronto for a one game playoff.
