What a waste of Hancock and Raley's superb performances.
$1756 dinner including tax plus $300 tip. Glad I wasn't paying. Had a marvelous time.

Dan went with the tried and true "That's baseball" line post game. A tradition like no other for M's managers.

And JD's thinking, "Win 5, get to 13-11, we'll be at 54% because, that's the Mariner way."D-train wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 2:30 pmDan went with the tried and true "That's baseball" line post game. A tradition like no other for M's managers.

Worst part of the evening? Got in my car and heard Munoz & Ferrer rewarding the Padres with pitches to hit.

Love that crap that like you said "It's only 1 game" or "it's early". A game is a game. If we miss by one, and that has never been a thing before right, then we can talk about it's early or whatever later.

How long have you been at it? Any kind of a restricted diet is a headache when it comes to dealing with interaction with othersDonn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 1:27 pmYou ate half a steak and half a baked potato, saving the rest for your wife? Apparently that wasn't last night but last season. Softy and other Seattle media are defending her saying it was from a couple weeks ago and she had a stroke, give her a break, but this video was actually posted last season.
All the Mariners reporters (and nearly every post-game sports interview in all sports) ask such horribly dumb questions after games, maybe they should use AI to figure out better things to ask.
"Tell us about your approach in that at-bat where you hit a homerun." What interesting answer could ever result from that question? Nobody will say they were intentionally swinging for the fences and the pitcher was tipping his fastball.
Edit: Now she's saying it's from" earlier this season. "

I literally eat about half of what I used to. I used to eat an entire frozen pizza no problem. When I went to Edmonds community college I would go to Hoagies Corner and order a large Cheesy British sandwich, a 16 oz Cheesy Broccoli soup, a bag of chips and a pint of Milk, easily down it all and not gain an ounce. Golden years.... sigh.rockycola wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 3:35 pmDonn Beach wrote: ↑Thu Apr 16, 2026 1:27 pmYou ate half a steak and half a baked potato, saving the rest for your wife? Paet self control, part self-preservation. One doesn't break a (quasi-) fast with heavy foods or meat....but a free KEG dinner on the company??? So wisdom says eat lite. And I WILL have that Matcha Smoothie today, thank you very much!

Even 10 years ago I would go to Jack in the Box and order a Jumbo Jack with cheese, 3 piece egg rolls and 2 tacos and finish it all with ease. Insanity..
