Millikin's got to have his game on for his GT tomorrow.
Early game, I think.

Glad we had Refsnyder in there or things could've really gotten out of hand.
Only lost by one. Phew.

Oh cool, we get to trash Maury Wills. When he was doing the radio broadcast he had all the answers to success for every player on the club.Southpaw773 wrote: ↑Wed May 20, 2026 4:40 amEven the worst manager in past Mariners history couldn’t be this stupid

Didn't realize they'd used Castillo pretty much how I thought they might stack Miller and Hancock to conserve innings.
Have to give them credit, I didn't think they had the scones to move that salary to the bullpen.
Will be interesting to see if they self-impose a limit on Hancock by the end of the year after skipping this opportunity to limit his innings by stacking another starter with him.
Miller probably needs it while building up his pitch counts anyways.

We'll see if Castillo really is in the bullpen. This to me was more how you do a piggyback. They used Castillo like that to keep his pitch count up. As opposed to a maximum effort one inning deal
