He was actually significantly better at home.
Actually he wasn't. His opp slg on the road is 90 pts lower than the home slug.
This year he has been better on the road but for his career his opp slg is .401 on the road and .358 at home.

Yeah, maybe I have been absorbing the hype a bit too much.
Remember Castillo was throwing in a bandbox. Here are his home road splits for his career

I Split G PA AB R H 2B 3B HR SB CS BB SO SO/W BA OBP SLG OPS TB GDP HBP SH SF IBB ROE BAbip tOPS+
Home 70 1730 1563 170 336 75 2 48 16 5 136 481 3.54 .215 .283 .358 .640 559 33 15 8 8 6 17 .276 89
Away 67 1562 1378 182 331 71 9 44 12 4 151 379 2.51 .240 .319 .401 .720 552 32 12 14 6 0 10 .299 112
He was actually significantly better at home.
tOPS+ at home was 89 and 112 on the road.....how is that worse?

Wow 6 runs off a solid pitcher. Great to see hopefully Castillo can give us 3 more innings.

I want to see 110 or fewer pitch complete game. Save the bullpen
