Woo For the Win Sunday Gamethread 4-6
Re: Woo For the Win Sunday Gamethread 4-6
And btw, should've sent Cal. Make them make the fucking play. So tired of being gun shy on the bases. Especially on the road.

Garver's a good hitter. He puts up good PAs. He's better than fucking Tellez and should be playing every day over that fat POS. [I'd rather pull up Harry Ford now and have him backup C/DH over both]Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 10:54 pm
It's not comical.
What is comical is having Mitch Garver with the bases loaded and 2 outs top 9.
That's comical.
But ya, we have all the talent in house to be a good offense.![]()

He got a key hit in the PA before. I don't get why we can't PH Polanco. This team doesn't want it badly enough.

Right?
It's like a Comedy Tragedy.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tragicomedy is a literary genre that blends aspects of both tragic and comic forms. Most often seen in dramatic literature, the term can describe either a tragic play which contains enough comic elements to lighten the overall mood or a serious play with a happy ending.[1] Tragicomedy, as its name implies, invokes the intended response of both the tragedy and the comedy in the audience, the former being a genre based on human suffering that invokes an accompanying catharsis and the latter being a genre intended to be humorous or amusing by inducing laughter.

Anyone who thinks they should send Cal fuckin Raleigh when the cut off man has the ball in his hands before Cal has even reached 3rd is either insane or doesn't know what they are talking about.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Sun Apr 06, 2025 10:57 pmI don't huh? I would say that almost any of today's Tacoma line-up could be called up except for Young, Thomas or Ford.
It depends on what Dan and Jerry think will work.
(1.) Canzone, (2.) Locklear, (3.) Taylor are my top 3 guesses. But one never knows (nor understands) the deep pontifications of Dipoto.
Locklear ended up going 4-5 today.
He might just put Tellez at 1st, Raley in RF and call up Shenton.
