As I've said, I don't give a shit about Seagers future value for another team because he's untradeable with the clause in his contract. There is no reason to move Seager to 2B unless the Mariners get their 3B of the future. I don't see that happening unless they trade Haniger or Santana for a 3B prospect before next season as I don't see Dippto spending big money in the offseason. He can figure out his future value on his own. For now I leave him at 3B where he isn't blocking anybody.

Which has been my point this entire time. It was never about if Seager could play 2B or if he'd have more value there long term. He's a place holder at 3B while we see what we have in Rizzo, Scheiner, Shenton, Honeyman the next year and a half in the minors. 2021 is the year they look to replace him at 3B if those guys aren't the guy.
