Okay, so I'm watching Angie ask Julio about "What feels good right now". Dude crushed one, but then whiffed three times and then popped up twice against a position player.

When Cameron did it, he had 4 RBI. Boonie and he went back-to-back twice...in the first inning.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 2:56 am4 homers and just 5 RBI lol

Yeah it seemed completely absurd to pick Julio to interview after the game. Polanco, Williamson, Castillo even JP for that one crazy play would have been a better choice.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 6:07 amOkay, so I'm watching Angie ask Julio about "What feels good right now". Julio just did what he's done in 90% of at-bats this season: Swung out of his shoes on the first pitch, but this one actually made contact.
Seriously, I don't care how great his personal hitting coach is for other players in the league. It's not working. He's a mess at the plate. He needs a totally different approach, unless his goal is to be a 200 hitter who occasionally hits lucky homeruns.

I don't think it's about finding another hitting coach, he's got Kevin Seitzer, Bobby Magallanes, Edgar Martinez, Ovi Diaz. I don't think some other one is coming along and enlightening him on how to hit a baseball

Very well said and 100% agree. Tired of hearing his excuses.Millikin wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 7:12 amYeah it seemed completely absurd to pick Julio to interview after the game. Just in 2024, for example, Nick Pivetta and Nestor Cortes only needed about a month to recover from elbow flexor strains. The former even went on to pitch another 134.2 innings, and he's still going strong in 2025
