Problem here is the USA don’t give a shit about the WBC so neither do the fans and don’t appreciate what it means to a “small country” ( or a country that is not called America) to aim for a major title.

Maybe this tournament might start to change the perception of the WBC in the US? There is something unique about these kinds of competition that capture the imagination of the teams.

But I bet 1 Bolivar that your countrymen will dismiss it as a meaningless “Mickey Mouse” Cup because you haven’t won it.

We didn't care about it anyway is what losers say. That was a pathetic couple of games by the offense. It was kind of like watching the 2024 Mariners. Or the early Spring of 2025 Mariners. Swing as hard as you can with your eyes closed and hope you make contact. Hell, I guess that is actually like every Mariner team than isn't it?
