Sounds like we are way over paying. 4 players 2 major league type as well! Jerry might have lost this trade. Will see who it is!

Topa Desclafani and gabby Gonzalez this far so maybe not losing too much. Topa hurts though gonna miss him.

Darren Bowen is the other guy. Good move here. Losing 4 for 1 think it was 2 much but Polanco has a good history and switch hits. So Rojas and Urias got 3rd. Hopefully they can handle thier own there.

The one remaining type of move that would make sense to me at this point would be flipping DeSclafini for a guy like Brandon Lowe. Include $6M to the Rays and it would only raise our payroll around $3M (and lower theirs 3).

If Wander Franco is coming back, they probably realize they could save some money by playing Caballero at 2B. They seem pretty weak at SP.

Or, could make sense to flip him to any number of other teams that need SP. Makes a lot less sense to let him Marco it in the bullpen imo.

Wander isn’t coming back if you read, based on what he has been charged with down there he won’t get through with a visa

Ahh good, given his apparent issue it doesn't sound like we want him around our teens anyways..

About DeScalfini being depth, I didn't feel exposed after Marco was traded.

If they felt they needed depth, they didn't have to go out of their way to give Kelenic away to unload Marco's $12M.

DeSclafini seemed to be more about balancing salary in the Ray trade than adding depth, but I guess we'll see if they keep him around as the #6.

I don't think they'll want to be on the hook for $12M to Desclafini any more than they want to pay up for Snell over Woo.

Seems like a decent move. Losing Gabby G could hurt eventually, guess we'll see.

How many weak middle infielders does a team need though?

And does this push Canzone, Haggerty or Rojas off the roster?

They are better than nothing and a good sanity check but they can't incorporate or consider how badly we needed another legit bat in the lineup!
