There have been ST game threads with more posts than this. Has Seth passed away?
Be patient, we're not losing yet.
See D-T, it’ll be a pile on now. Quite rightly so.

You could see the energy drain out of the entire team during our half of the 11th. Wilson now has to earn his stripes to lift them for tomorrow. I didn’t think he managed that game too badly, to be fair to him. Just let down by the offense.
Game was over the minute Manager Dan went to Vargas.

Let’s hope Detroit leaves their umps at the hotel tomorrow as well.

Arod laying it out pretty well. Don't need a whole lineup of batters swinging out of their shoes for homeruns. Need baserunners and regular hits.
He did, but did he also inject steroids directly into his ears? The dude looks like a fucking Bat!

OK, so let's say he went to [insert amazing bullpen arm we had left], he allowed zero, then Mariners scored zero.

Eventually Vargas or one of the other bums we had left would allow a run. But Mariners were 0-27 not counting Cal and Julio.

How does better bullpen decisions from Dan ever equal a win in a game without Mariners offense?

Pitching allowed a total of 3 runs in 11 innings! Pitching was not the problem. That's a 2.45 ERA!

Rafeal Montero - former Mariner - if they had left him in the game, we would have score 3-4 more runs.
Will Vest, former Mariner pitcher. Drafted by Detroit, Jerry grabbed him as a Rule 5 draftee, we gave him back. I wish Vest had been kept.

My niece, with the Tiger, same first and last name (1st name spelled diff) as the Tiger's home run hitter. I think she won it for Detroit:
1.) - pumping the Tiggers full of peds, and
2.) - a Carpenter hitting a home run
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Never said the offense is blameless I just didn’t get to that part yet. I’m at work and am only posting on breaks.

The offense pretty much sucked outside of Julio and Cal like you said. Also don’t get Raley pinch hitting at all. He’d gawd awful.

I'm simultaneously texting with a buddy in Tennessee (big M's and Seahawks fan) and also with 2 of my sons. one here in WA and the other in Maryland and also my brother in Michigan (guess who's the Tigger's fan?).
Good banter.
Com'n M's!!!
Vargas 🤬🤬🤬🤢🤮
at least you got one over on your son in Maryland today. great comeback but i'd easily trade that for a run in the 8th or 9th.

so much of baseball is chance, then you get to the playoffs where you have the best teams going against each other in short a series. Its really basically like going to vegas
"The baseball playoffs are really difficult," Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said. "You obviously have to be really good. You also have to have some really good fortune. The number of rounds and the fact that the very best team in the league wins around 60% of their games, the very worst team wins around 40% -- now you take the upper-echelon in the playoffs, and the way baseball games can play out, good fortune is a real part of determining the outcomes."
