Can't blame Kikuchi one bit for that. Bloop hit. Failed double play. Bad throw to get him out at home. That run should have never scored.

The throw didn't look that bad to me, unless it skipped weirdly off the grass at an angle I couldn't catch. I think the catcher should be able to handle a short hop throw regularly if it's true.

It was a tough catch because it came in on his body. Should have been a better through. Blame goes to both imo. Both should be able to make a better play.

I'll buy that.
