Joc Pederson signing with the Giants. $6MM, one year contract.
Early on he was one of my picks. Glad we got Winker instead.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Added Freeman

We are down to just a few impact position players and maybe what Brad Hand as notable pitchers?

Oh jeeeeez US Brad Hand signed for 6M with the Phillies.

If we add an LH BP stud which we need we have to go to the trade market
And
If we want to double up on Aves/TOR we also need to go trade.

This is absolutely catastrophic. My main push in all my plans was: you can't go all FA or all trade! You have to go close to 50-50.
Ray FA

Winker trade
Saurez trade
Frazier trade
2nd TOR (trade)
LH BP stud (trade) Hand was 6M Chaffin 6.5M

Could Justus Sheff. be cooking into a lefty BP ace? Is that the plan? The other internal BP aces were traded:
Brandon Williamson could have taken the Price intro into the Rays and been a super high K rate lefty out of the pen as a rookie. BW= 17.1 and 12.6 K-rate split A+/AA in 2021
Ray Kerr 13.6 K-Rate between AA and AAA in 2021

So with only Chef as the one possible LH BP stud? And letting Hand and Chaffin be signed for reasonable numbers?

I have to question what JEDI is thinking,

So he is my what we should have done critique:

Everything we did = Yes!

Big loss Carlos C at 3X35M with opt-outs after each year He is a grade or two better than Frazier as-is and also gives you insurance against all your skill infeilders sucking. 2B, 3B, SS

But we should have got Bassitt who is an Ace with only 1 year left for like a Stoudt led package
an alternative would have been one of the guys like Thor, Grienke, Mortin, etc.

LHBP Hand and Chaffin each went for 6 or 6.5M are we hoping on ELias who has not pitched since 2019?

Those 3 moves added to what we got and I would put the M's as favorites to win the West.

Roster resource has us at 126M in total payroll with all the stuff each player we add subtracts one of the min wagers but
6.5 M Chaffin adds near 6M
35.1 M for CC adds 34.4
Bassitt probably 10M or so so let's say 9M

49.5
+ 126M
= 175M or so

But we got a world beating
Line-up
rotation
BP

Am I wrong?
