My concern with him is he came back in August and was on fire meaning he had to be 100% but then went into a grievous slump and finished with only a .736. Could be in the beginning of his decline. I would do incentive based deal only.

If the M's sign Nimmo, they'll move JRod over to RF and Brandon will man center. Bank on it!

Would be a hit to Julio's WAR but should happen if Nimmo is better. He is but not by a lot. I really don't care what happens there.Sexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 2:45 pmIf the M's sign Nimmo, they'll move JRod over to RF and Brandon will man center. Bank on it!

Re: Finally! Official Hot Stove League Thread
Not too worried about Julio's WAR if it improves the outfield defense, as well as keeping JRod healthy and on the field as much as possible. You're right though, it would take a hit, but not as much as if Julio was injured and missing time from the rigors of constantly playing CF. I'm not talking about babying him. We are way past that. It's just the logical move going forward with the team if Nimmo signs here.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Nov 11, 2022 3:00 pmWould be a hit to Julio's WAR but should happen if Nimmo is better.
