They don’t want to pay anyone, that’s the problem, they are more worried about keeping payroll down than winning and accumulating assets. Teo is good enough to be a DH and worth at least 15-20 a year. I don’t pay a penny, it’s just the stupid decisions the team makes time and again that odd keeping them from really competing.

Yep. I called it a few months ago on some thread back in June or July. I knew they wouldn't extend Teo the qualifying offer. Should they? Yes, absolutely. But it was obvious they wouldn't, that they would look at him accepting as a financial disaster.
