He is a single away from the cycle and Ford is hitting near 300 so yea they will continue to rot cause Jerry has his orgy and doesn't wanna lose that!!

I doubt they'd continue it in the majors...

But I don't see any reason why you can't start Ford at 1B/OF and have him catch a couple times a week.

Young can slot at 2B.

Will they continue this insane success? Likely not... but holy fuck it's not like Solano, Garver, Tellez, and Masterboner are gonna do better.

They might be better then what we have now though!!! Gotta see what the kids have can't be any worse even though Benny is looking really bad lately. Polanco hasent played 2nd since idk how long and Young just waiting while it's his time already!!

I don't see much out there to trade Harry Ford for. I'd rather they bring him up next year and let him develop as Cal's backup. He can catch two days per week, play the outfield, pinch run, and occasionally DH. If there was a premier player out there to move him for, I would get that, but I don't think that player exists right now. The expanded postseason format doesn't help with that.

If they do trade him this season, it should be for a starting pitcher.

Good to see Tellez add on a bit more. Teeny cushion for Evans keeping the ball in the park throwing strikes!!! Padres are 16-5 at home. Usually when we hit homers we win so hoping it continues!!!!

Kirby should be ready next time through. Close to 70 pitches so 85 for his debut against cheatstros which should be like 3 innings against them!!
