Awesome start to this game! There's a lot of pressure on our good hitters to put together better games than normal as 7-8-9 are "Just happy to be here and we have no aspirations beyond that" types that are 12 guaranteed outs.
Robles and Mast just said "Guarantee THIS, couch manager". :D

Seems smart to put a guy with a .800 OPS higher in the lineup than 9th... even if he is 20.
But it took about 5 injuries for them to finally do it after repeatedly saying he is the most mature prospect in the history of baseball....
Julio should be relegated to 7th until he decides he wants to actually be a star and not some .750 OPS hitter that morons slobber over.
His .739 OPS is 87th of 157 qualified hitters....

Jp with a solid play at 3rd. Looking good over there best throw i have seen.

Why in the fkkk did we keep Garver over Pereda? He sucks badly. Calls a great game. Only reason why. Can deal with his outs as long as others get runs and he helps the pitcher pitch a gem

You know what would be a big improvement in our lineup? Pereda instead of Garver. Why is it that a bunch of shlubs like us know this and people who are paid millions of dollars don't?

Imagine if every decision they made was based solely on who gives the team the best chance to win....

I suppose in all fairness that if they did everything the forum wanted they'd have to change the team name to Albatrosses due to all the bad contracts they'd have.

Garver calls a better game. Only difference

If Garver had and option left and Pereda made $2M it would have been Garver sent down.

3 Ks for Cal today. Looks like we're going to have to do this without him.
