The Dodgers do everything well, including player development. They can turn turds into diamonds. That’s why they can trade everything that isn’t bolted down and still have a top 5 farm system, over and over and over again.

Exactly, the Mets and Yankees have money to throw around. Nobody seems to be scared of them these days. I doubt a cap really slows down the dodgers that much.

It just saves them money that can be diverted to even better development.

Besides the Dodgers are toast now anyway. This lossing run does look bad, Betts has gone off a cliff. Listening to Cowherd, the Dodgers really haven't dominated anything. There's been truly dominate teams in the past, 98 Yankees, they lost one game in the entire playoffs. Dodgers really aren't at that level

I know. That had to be tongue in cheek. I haven’t been to a Major League Baseball game in about 3 years. I refuse to pay $150 for a couple of nosebleeds and then $15 for a shitty assed beer in a tin can. But clearly folks are paying it, even for small market teams.

Then there’s Costco - “we refuse to increase the cost of our buck fifty hotdog and bottomless fountain drink”. Too bad Costco doesn’t have a Major League Baseball team.
