I like his presence also, but if we dont trade him, his presence is all we'll have to show for his time here because he can't be offered a QO again.

Have to realize a return to keep the franchise stocked. It's part of why the Ms have sucked for years. They let guys like Nelson Cruz walk instead of trading them to get prospects when they have the chance.

Imagine the A's or Rays letting a guy like Cruz play out his contract in a losing season... Yeah, neither can I. It wouldnt happen.

Same situation with Edwin.

Well said BPJ and I concur we need to be flexible and move players on for the betterment of the future at the right time. Seager is a classic example imo his platoon and shift issues existed long before Jerry got there and he should have been one of Jerry's first trades out.

.617 OPS with zero HRs in AAA. Can't contain my excitement for his return. :|

Seager is eligible tomorrow. I'm not sure that they activate him tomorrow.

They need to create roster space. The M's have 25 pitchers on their 40 man, actually 27 with 2 on the 60 day IL. I can see them DFAing or trading a pitcher.

I can see them DFAing Ruben Alaniz. They got David McKay for cash, so they could trade him for cash/PTBNL too.

He has been ready for a week. Why would they not have a move in mind already?

He doesn't have his timing down. Dipoto might not want to make a 40 man move at the moment.

He certainly hasn't been tearing it up in AAA but doubt JD is worried about Seager causing us to lose a game because his timing isn't down.

Here is the roster move made to activate Corey's big brother:
Date Transaction
05/25/19
Seattle Mariners activated 3B Kyle Seager from the 60-day injured list.
Seattle Mariners optioned 3B Dylan Moore to Tacoma Rainiers.
Seager now needs to go on a tear.

Who did they take off the 40 man roster?

Edit. Just saw it was Sam Tuivailala. Why wasn't he on the 60 day IL to begin with?
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

He was close to returning, then this today:
Date Transaction
05/25/19 Seattle Mariners transferred RHP Sam Tuivailala from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day injured list. Right Achilles rupture.
Ruptured Achilles? His career might be over. At the very least, 2019 is in the rear view mirror.
He's a righty. Guess what leg he drives off of?
