Beautiful day here in Boston so Cocktails at the Pool hour starting very soon so I will completely miss this game again.

KK vs. our their worst starting. If we can't take this one, its all over but the cryin.

Could someone help me out with the lineups? Thanks.
Frankie Montas R 8-8 4.33 ERA
Oakland A's expected lineup

LF Mark Canha R
SS Elvis Andrus R
1B Matt Olson L
DH Jed Lowrie S
CF R. Laureano R
3B Matt Chapman R
C Sean Murphy R
RF S. Piscotty R
2B Jacob Wilson R

Yusei Kikuchi L 6-5 3.92 ERA

Seattle Mariners Expected Lineup

SS J. Crawford L
RF M. Haniger R
3B Kyle Seager L
1B Ty France R
CF J. Kelenic L
DH Luis Torrens R
2B Dylan Moore R
C Cal Raleigh S
LF Shed Long L

I would change this quite a bit, but I doubt it would change the outcome of the game...Probably start by switching Kelenic with Raleigh...and dropping Seager to the nine hole
So Seager gets moved back up to the 3-hole and Frenchie gets dropped to 4 based on what exactly?

But the kicker is actually moving Kelenic UP in the order because lord knows he's been tearing the cover off the ball! WTF is SS thinking here?!?! Is he just putting names in a hat and drawing them out at random? I don't get it.

I guess I don't know anything about baseball because this makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. Only reasoning I can think of would be to get him some protection in the lineup ahead of Torrens who's probably been our most consistent hitter along with France? The fact that our number 5 batter in the lineup carries a slash line of .104/.181./.360 is downright embarrassing and speaks volumes about this team offensively.

It funny because .406 is what Ted Williams hit the last time someone hit .400 80 years ago.

For more fun, over 160 games that would 260 hits 60 doubles, 60 triple, 40 HRs, 200 runs 160 RBIs and 40 SBs. And the kid weighs 160lbs. LOL

and some people are happy with the DH bats we put in the eight hole!

SS doubles down on being an idiot blames his hitters instead.

Wow what a buffoon. Just unbelievable.

Other teams pitch their good relievers in close games and use any bums as mopup.

Is Servais under the impression he has to give equal play like it's Little League? Use your good players when it's close, seems so flippin basic.

Servais' IQ is double digits.
Yet he probably makes more then 95% of us smart guys in the forum😂🤣 Not sure what his obsession with Montero unless there are naked pictures involved tho
I have no doubt he makes more than I do. Dipoto can't leave black holes on the roster because Servais runs the 26 man roster like a socialist. Just let them all play, he says.
