No. Every year Story's road OPS is in the lower .700s, he won't hit in a Mariner uniform. Sign Bryant to play third, make Frazier the second baseman, and expect France to jump to the next level which I think he will.

Why on earth do people like Trevor Story.

Red flags:

1. Huge Coors split differential.
2. Career 3:1 K:BB ratio
3. K's 160+ times over 162 games yearly
4. OPS+ only in the 120's in years where he's had .900+ OPS's
5. Arm issues mean he may not be able to stay on left side of the infield

Limited Ab's but Conforto at Safeco has a .286/333/714 slash line. He is a Seattle guy so probably as likely as anyone to want to come here.
