JP is absolutely on fire. Damn he is turning into such a great hitter.

JP still hot as heck.....Winker, still batting at 3rd when he should be batting 8th.......
Servais is always the last one to realize the obvious moves.
He still has brain fog from long covid

Pickoffs should be counted as caught stealing so speedsters aren't given extra credit on ther SB/CS counts.
I wonder how many times Rickey Henderson was picked off in the season he stole 130 bases. I remember looking at his stats and he was caught stealing a ton that year.
Changes things quite a bit imo.

Stealing at an 80% rate I believe is what they say a player needs to actually break even on stealing bases.

For example if a guy goes 8/10 stolen bases with 2 pickoffs added, he doesn't help the team.

Julio: Exciting rookie, but still a rookie.
If he's going to go something like 55-60 stealing bases I suppose we can live with a few of those. Sad that he has to steal in front of JK and hope for a bloop single.

We should have seen it coming too. His career arc seems similar to Carlos Guillen's. Too bad the Tigers were the ones who benefited when the light turned on with him.

Wouldn't the natural top 3 in the order be, Frazier, JP (or flip flop) and then France....?

What is the logic of a guy like France being #2 if there's nobody scary behind to drive them in?

Scott is an idiot.

Answer: Rickey Henderson was caught stealing 42 times that year and picked off 17 times.

*There's another source that says he was caught only 31 times, but I can't figure out why it's different than en everywhere else I looked.

OMG JK is a major black hole he just cannot hit this pitching. He needs a guru or something to get him going.

That would be left, left, right. Pretty sure SS is a stickler about that, especially at the top of a lineup.

Trout bats #2, but has Ohtani behind him.

I don't understand why left, left, right would be a BAD thing.

Aren't 80% of the pitchers right handed? So a left-left start would seem to be optimal wouldn't it?
