Trade!!!
Re: Trade!!!
Teo has started 172 games in LF but only 3 this season. He is Mitch's replacement imo. But could play LF if we sign Nimmo.

Re: Trade!!!
Love this! He has a career .833 OPS on the road so he is not a product of a friendly home park. And with a decent sample size of 60 PA he has hit .357 with a 1.079 OPS at T-Mobile Park!

Re: Trade!!!
I see that Macko is a Slovakian-Canadian.
That sounds about as a random as a Martian-Earthling.

Re: Trade!!!
I would now leverage Flexen and Marco to re-stock the bullpen.
M's have the prospect capitol to make another big trade.
They just dropped around $14.5 million for one year of Hernandez (maybe they extend him?)... which tells me the M's probably have another $20 or so million to spend in free agency.
I get the feeling they want to add one more starting pitcher, a corner OF, and a player that can play 2B.
I see one more big trade and one more significant f/a signing on the horizon with a couple smaller transactions mixed in.

Re: Trade!!!
I would give Macko a value of about 5 dollars and 40 cents and the values for the other two look about right and happy to slightly overpay for offense with a RP.

Re: Trade!!!
I think Jerry prefers trades to FA. I am mostly with you on your assessment, SoB - but I think if he signs someone it will be an international one (Yoshida or Senga). I think he fills other holes with trades. I don't know - maybe he goes after some relievers through FA, but nothing splashy like an Edwin Diaz haul.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 5:35 pmI would now leverage Flexen and Marco to re-stock the bullpen.
