I agree Castillo has trade value even though the site has him negative. Marte is pegged at $60M but the D Backs won't get all that value because of his issues and the fact that they put him on the block. Maybe if we pay some of Castillo's salary, add a couple prospects and give them Bliss or Canzone back we could make a deal of some sort.
Well ya, that's more like it.

Unfort BTV doesn't have Castillo evaluated right. They undervalued Gray's apparent value by about $12M when you consider cash and prospects sent over.

Let's say that's the same for Castillo. Put his value at a surplus of $10M for any trade on that website.

They always undervalue veteran pitchers with some money attached to em.

Yeah I agree. Then you could probably pull Canzone out of the Deal. We probably need him to DH.

Ryan Helsley signs with the Orioles: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/11/ ... lsley.html

It's two years, 28m with an opt out after the first year.

Huh? Who is suggesting that?
If.dumb.fuck.jackoff.bleacher.report.fraud.com.gov was suggesting it would it warrant discussion?
No. Maybe I'm missing something in context here.

When Harmony posts those stupid fan articles like they actually mean something I want to pull my hair out.

Regardless, Castillo has trade value.
:D :D :D

FWIW harmony has cited Bleacher Report only once on this forum (with the dismissive disclaimer FWIW):

I'm not sure how much teams are going to value Geno's bat.

In the last 10 years, his 49 HR's is very "empty" compared to other sluggers.

Geno's not even a TTO slugger like Adam Dunn.

Homeruns are pretty much his only trick. Which, is something. His wRC+ was 125, so his bat was still 25% better than average. Jorge Polanco had a 132 this season.

But compared to anybody else putting up those homeruns in the last 10 years, Geno's bat is pretty impotent.

Check out the wRC+ of players with 49 HR over the last 10 years. Most are worth waaaaay more than the average player.

Geno's kind of in a class of his own. I dont think he'll get a very impressive contract personally.

And I sure wouldnt give it to him.
